Invoices & Payments
Zynclog makes it easy to issue professional invoices directly within your client portal, allowing clients to review and pay without digging through email attachments.
Creating an Invoice
- Navigate to the Invoices tab in your dashboard or inside a specific Project.
- Click New Invoice.
- Fill out the Invoice Details, including the Due Date and Currency.
- Add line items. You can specify the description, quantity, and price for each item. The total will be calculated automatically.
Linking to a Project
You can optionally link an invoice to a specific Project. If linked, the invoice will appear directly in that project's Client Portal, providing a seamless experience for your client to track project progress and billing in one place.
Connecting Payment Gateways
If you use an external payment gateway (like Stripe, PayPal, or Paddle):
- Paste your external payment link (e.g., a Stripe Checkout link) into the Payment URL field on the invoice.
- When the client views the invoice in the portal, they will see a prominent Pay Now button that securely redirects them to your checkout page.
Invoice Status
You can manually update the status of an invoice (DRAFT, SENT, PAID, OVERDUE) from your dashboard to keep your own records up to date.
